You may think you’re broken, but that is where you’re wrong. I’ve been sitting back giving you your moment, letting you work out the pain you’ve held onto for so very long. All those sleepless nights carving on your arm, you weren’t alone, I was with you all along. I’m that extra breath you take when you don’t think you can, I’m that fire in your eyes when all you can do is cry.
For all the times you wanted to quit and just couldn’t push through, I was always right there, the only one cheering for you. I’m the voice off in the distance, the one you can barely hear. The one that gives you the courage to always persevere.
You will make it through this, and tomorrow is a new day. It’ll bring the light that takes the darkness away. In everything you say and everything you do, this is where you’ll find me, the light inside you.
