We nurture our expectations of others as though they are a breast feeding baby in a cradle while ignoring our self expectations. We pragmatically hold others accountable for their decisions and actions whilst losing ourselves in the universe.

The fallacy of acceptance over expectations lies in the human condition. Our state is as fragile as a ripple in the river, yet volatile as an explosive ordinance cascading through the night sky. Fickle as the suns rays beaming into a cloud covered sky. We can not alter the actions of others, nor can we alter our self being in reaction to others’ subsequent actions. Acceptance is not the ability to nurture others. It’s the realization of not changing ourselves if ourselves don’t need changing. We are ever evolving creatures in a habitually changing environment. Do we change with our environment or because of the environment? It’s a matter of self-awareness.
